Today has been a very fulfilling day,
You might ask in what way,
Well, I just got off the phone with someone I know,
In fact, she’s not just someone, but one who means much more,
I am what I am mostly because of her,
I can truly say she shaped my future,
I was quite a brat when I was in school,
I challenged/rebelled and I thought that was cool,
I was always in perpetual trouble,
Always flouting rules and unreasonable,
But she somehow saw the good in me,
Waved her magic wand and restored me,
She somehow understood,
And I withstood,
Now I am where I am,
It may not be the Buckingham,
But I am happy and satisfied,
It’s because of you sister, my mentor and guide!
