I know we are not as much fun as before,
I know we don’t gallivant much or roar,

I know we don’t call much these days,
Or join in for dinners and set the floor ablaze,

It’s not as if we don’t want these things,
It’s just that circumstances have clipped our wings,

But the yearnings are still in place,
We still love to party and outings embrace,

Since I can’t move around much these days,
Can my friends not come home and the tempo raise?
