Holi is just around the corner,
And my baby just can’t contain the glimmer,
That shines bright through her eyes,
At the very thought of colors and water balloons of every size,

She is one of those,
Who thoroughly enjoyed the festival’s messy overdose,

Earlier you could hear her squeal in delight,
As she drenched her friends in colors dark and bright,

Now her face lights up with joy,
An impish grin as she hides a ploy,
Then she breaks into an adorable laugh,
As she smears her father’s face with colors enough,

It’s all about the experience I believe,
No matter what or how you achieve,
As long as you are able to relive,
Then life’s purpose you are able to achieve
