No one likes being reprimanded,
No one likes being chided,
And if it is done in front of juniors and subordinates,
The anger and insult only aggravates,

Learning from one’s mistakes is one thing,
But losing face is a different thing,
When we are in public,
Learning from reproach is less, the result more diabolic,

Wouldn’t it be much better to pull aside the person concerned,
Tell him or her what went wrong instead of rebuking in public and having him burned
