My baby is bursting out of her skin,
As she listens to the chatter and laughter from below begin,

She’s dying to meet all her father’s friends,
Hear their tales of mischief and girlfriends,

From time to time she would look that way,
Hoping they’d walk up and her father’s secrets betray,

So when they came up to say hello,
You should’ve seen her face all aglow,
She reached out to them with much gusto,
Smiling, speaking all in one go,

It’s lovely to see her interact so delightfully,
Her face light up as she smiles charmingly,
There is a twinkle in her eye,
Clearly she loves it when people stop by
