Laddu enjoyed every bit of the day,
As with childhood friends she engaged in play,

She reached out to them just like before,
There was ample emotional outpour,

I liked the way they dug into their chocolates,
Watching TV just like old mates,

The children even crooned for her,
Melodies filling the room like myrrh,

She was indeed sad to see them go,
Tears welling up in her eyes ready to flow,

Long after they were gone,
She fretted and was forlorn,
She wanted me to make a phone call,
And tell them that she had a ball
