As I walked along the school corridor,
A very familiar sight it bore,
Of children spraying each other with water,
Angry teachers telling them not to loiter,

As I staved off a grin,
I was reminded of a similar scene,
It was when I was in school,
When I was naughty and always playing the fool,

On one such dubious occasion,
Where a spray of chalks caught the teacher’s attention,
And we were packed off for after school detention…
